Rain in Her Heart

I created this painting by a little girl’s diary. She was about 7 years old. Because of the historical reason she had to separate with her parents. Her younger sister and younger brother followed their parents moved to another city, she and her older sister stayed with their father’s sister who had never married. She missed her parents so much. She didn’t want to leave her parents. Every time of the holiday after her parents visited her then left, she just wanted  to follow the railway track to find them.

I feel that strongly pain in that little girl’s heart. She had no voice to choose her life. In many countries, their life can’t decide by themselves. In the family they have to listen to the head of the family (Patriarchy). A family has to sacrifice the small individual for their nation. Parents ignore their children’s voice think they can decide for themselves. This tragedy to happen again and again in this world. How we can improve?
